Daniel Alexander
Video Essayist
I build with Adobe.
I am a video creator based in Lafayette, Colorado. My journey into video creation began in high school as a form of cathartic expression. While studying at Boise State University, this hobby evolved into a skill, and I began freelancing in my spare time. I earned my BA in Political Science—not to enter politics, but to explore the human condition through various lenses and perspectives. I became fascinated by understanding how societies can be organized in ways that allow individuals to thrive within the collective.
I delve into these topics through short video essays and documentaries on my YouTube channel. My style is personal, honest, and vibey. With over a decade of professional experience as a freelance cinematographer and video editor, I’ve worked with content creators and businesses alike. I’m passionate about collaborating on projects that ignite my soul, working alongside people and communities dedicated to creating a more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.
